The elderly Japanese couple next door have an impressive bamboo hedge that periodically needs trimming.

The latest haul had some nice diameter bamboo, so I decided to make a bamboo flute.

They are fairly easy to make, and are fun to try to tune right, but this thing is awful hard to blow on the lower notes.
